Indication
TWINRIX is a vaccine that helps protect against hepatitis A and hepatitis B, two viruses which attack the liver. TWINRIX is for people who are 18 years of age or older. Only a doctor or healthcare provider can decide if TWINRIX is right for you.
Important Safety Information
- The most commonly reported side effects with TWINRIX are soreness where the shot was given and headache
- You should not receive TWINRIX if you have had an allergic reaction to any hepatitis A or hepatitis B vaccine, or to any substance in the vaccine, including yeast and neomycin
- Parts of the vaccine syringe contain latex, which could cause an allergic reaction in people who are allergic to latex
- You may not respond as well to TWINRIX if your immune system is not working well or if you take medicines that can weaken your immune system
- TWINRIX may not fully protect everyone
